Overview Reviews

Ain Athum Waterfalls are considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Dhofar Governorate, where nature meets with the waters of the waterfalls rushing from the mountain to Wadi Khashim, forming natural springs that flow abundantly in the fall season and at a height of about 20 meters.

Al Ain is a major destination and a stop for tourists and visitors after visiting Wadi Darbat to stop and enjoy the splendor of the landscape when the intense flow of waterfalls from the top of the mountain forms a pool of clear blue water extending over a wide area.

Nearby, there are places to relax and enjoy the splendor of the flow of waterfalls in the heart of the valley. There is also a stone-paved walkway lined with trees on the sides and crowded along its sides with stalls selling pastries, candy, corn, children’s toys, and more.

Ain Athum is approximately 33 kilometers away from the Wilayat of Salalah, and is reached via the road leading to the Wilayat of Taqah and then via the Jabal Nashib roundabout. It is one of the water springs whose waterfalls flow intensely in the fall season as a result of the increase in water levels in the underground reserves that feed these springs. With water, its water level is relatively lower in other seasons, and the location from which the waterfalls flow has been improved to make it easier for tourists to reach the bottom of the slope on which they fall
